Rotation slowed for display. The angled wheel pair pinches the seed furrow closed as it rolls.
What the sensor does
A stopped closing wheel leaves your seed trench open — seed uncovered, drying out, feeding birds. By the time you see it from the cab, you may have planted acres that way. The Sensor-1 Closing Wheel Rotation Sensor watches every wheel so you don't have to.
Mounts on the hub — a sealed, battery-powered sensor bolts to the closing wheel hub. No wires, no magnets, fits spike, cast, and rubber closing wheels.
Detects rotation — the sensor feels the wheel turning. Rocks, mud plug, wrapped residue, or a seized bearing stop the wheel — the sensor knows in about a second.
Wireless Bluetooth alert — an alarm pops on your tablet in the cab with the row number. Stop, clear it, keep planting — instead of finding it at emergence.
Whole planter covered — monitors up to 48 closing wheels at once, every row at the same time.
